to the rescue

It just so happens that Dave's sister moved to California about six months before we did. Turns out, Los Angeles is nowhere near San Francisco, but hey, it's closer than Chicago and we'll take what we can get.

The minute we found out we were moving, Nikki offered to help us get settled. She and her boyfriend, Sebastian, arrived the same day as our moving pod and let me just say, they pretty much saved us from insanity. We had a lot of boxes to unpack and a lot of furniture to assemble.

N+S,

Thank you for:
being our very first visitors
getting to know this city with us
helping us build our entire apartment
putting all of our books and dishes away
breaking down about a million empty boxes
sleeping on our very hard floor for three nights in a row
humoring me so I could relive the full house opening credits
introducing me to the deliciousness that is the pumpkin spice frappuccino.

Come again soon.

Love,
J+D
