Last week, we went hiking with Dave's grandparents who were visiting from Chicago. Yes, hiking. For real. I almost had to buy new shoes for the occasion, but as it turns out, I do own one lone pair of boots with traction.
If you are ever in the San Francisco Bay Area, go to Muir Woods. That's an order. The National Park is but a mere jaunt north of the city (and if you are visiting SF, it is mandatory that you drive over the Golden Gate bridge anyway) and it is worth every extra effort. Everyone should see the redwoods at least once. They are utterly magnificent.
*Unfortunately, something went wrong with my camera. I not sure what happened and I ended up having to restore the camera to its original settings (ugh) to correct it. So yes, some of these are wonky, but I'm posting them anyway. Live and learn.
Wow, these pictures are gorgeous! If I ever make it to the west coast, this will be on my list of things to do!
